Eng. Mahmoud Essmat, Minister of Public Business Sector, witnessed the signing of the Mokattam Corniche development project contract, a partnership between the Holding Company for Construction and Development and Scope Properties.
The project is expected to generate more than EGP 60 billion in returns, with investment of about EGP 32 billion. It spans approximately two million square metres and combines residential, commercial, tourism, educational and sporting uses, with views over the Pyramids and the Salah El-Din Citadel.
Foster + Partners was appointed for design and engineering work. The scheme comprises the Mokattam Corniche and terraces at 1.3 million square metres, alongside a 750,000 square metre residential compound on the central plateau.
